MB Bride Bride on National TV Bridezilla Show .  

MB Bride bride Candice was on WeTV Bridezillas show in early October, 2007. No, she doesn't flip out on us...in fact everything with us went so well that our store didn't even get to be on the show...

In November of 2006, the owner of MB Bride & Special Occasion got a call form the TV show producer asking if they could come film Candice picking up her gown.

This posed an interesting question -- since the show is about "bridezillas", was she herself going to be a bridezilla with us?

The owner of MB Bride & Special Occasion had heard that most of the stores on the show had been really skewered for things like poor alterations, wrongly pressed gowns, gowns not completely altered, or who knows what else.

Still, the owner decided that our store really didn't have anything to lose since we have been in business for long enough to know how to handle just about anything -- even "bridezillas." We have very high standards, and, really, nothing serious has ever really happened.

The owner figured we would do just fine with Candice and showing that on national television would be a pretty good thing.

So instead of simply refusing to be filmed, the owner decided to go ahead and see what would happen.

Ultimately, we did our job so well that we didn't even get to be in the show! No drama, no tears, no outbursts; we just did our job the way we normally do which led to being cut from the show.

Oh well. Our chance to be on national TV vanished because we did things too well.
